Kelty footprints extend the life of your tent's floor by protecting it from rough or abrasive surfaces. Please note - Kelty footprints are sized smaller than the tent floor to be sure there is no exposed footprint fabric to collect water during wet weather.
I've had this footprint under my tent for a full season now and the floor still looks brand new. The smaller sizing is actually smart—it tucks right under without any edge poking out to catch rain.
Camped on some sharp gravel last weekend and this thing took all the abuse instead of my tent floor. It's cut a bit smaller than the tent base, which actually keeps it from peeking out and catching rain. Nice peace of mind for the price.
Bought this to keep the tent floor off rocky ground and it's held up great through a few weekend trips. It's cut a bit smaller than the actual floor, which keeps the edges from sticking out and collecting water.
