Just the right amount of spice! Our Chicken Tikka Masala proves that pre-packaged adventure meals can be exciting and flavorful. A wonderful combination of rice, tender chicken, and a creamy, spicy sauce makes for an exciting meal wherever you are.
Packaging may differ, but don't worry, it's still the same great stuff inside!
Was worried the chicken would turn out rubbery after adding hot water, but it came back tender and the rice fluffed up nicely. The spice level is spot on too, enough heat to feel it without drowning out the creamy tomato flavor.
The creamy sauce actually rehydrates properly instead of turning watery like most freeze-dried meals I've tried. Chicken pieces were tender and the rice came out fluffy after about ten minutes with hot water. Solid dinner after a long day on the trail.
The spice level is spot on — enough heat to actually taste something after a long day, not so much that it overwhelms the creamy sauce. The chicken rehydrated surprisingly well, and the rice didn't turn to mush like some freeze-dried meals do.
