The 3.5" inseam is exactly what I wanted—no riding up on the climb and no constant tugging. The bonded seams are also way less itchy against my skin than regular stitched shorts, which I noticed on a long day out.
The three pockets actually hold my phone and a snack without bouncing, which I didn't expect from shorts this light. Bonded seams mean no chafing on long days out, and the 3.5" inseam hits just right.
