Took one on a two-hour trail run instead of my usual sports drink and never felt that flat, salty crash afterward. The electrolyte punch is real but it still goes down easy without needing water.
The doubled electrolytes actually made a difference on my long run — no cramping and I didn't need to carry a separate sports drink. Texture is smooth and easy to swallow mid-stride.
Swapped my usual sports drink for one of these on a long ride and the doubled electrolytes actually kept the cramps away. Only gripe is the gels are a bit thick to swallow mid-effort, but the convenience beats mixing powder.
