Wore this on a windy coastal hike and it blocked the gusts completely while I never got sweaty underneath. The MIKRO AIR fabric really does stretch when I reach overhead, and it packs down smaller than my old rain shell.
The hoody does block wind well and packs down small, but the water-resistant finish didn't hold up in steady rain—it soaked through in about ten minutes. Aeroknit keeps me from overheating on quick walks, though I expected more weather protection for the price.
