Wore this under a shell on a windy hike and it breathed way better than my old zip fleece. The full-zip makes it easy to dump heat on the climb without pulling it off completely.
The hollow-core fleece really does breathe better than my old hoody — I didn't overheat once on a brisk walk. Full zip makes it easy to vent, and it's soft enough to wear straight against a tee.
Wore this as a mid-layer on a windy hike and it blocked the chill without trapping heat on the climbs. The hollow-core fleece is noticeably softer than my old hoody and dries fast after a drizzle. Full zip makes it easy to dump heat without taking my pack off.
