The carbon shaft really does make a difference on long paddling days, my shoulders weren't wrecked after four hours. Blades have taken a beating on gravel launches and barely show a scratch.

Took it out on the rocks last weekend and the blades barely show a scratch after bouncing off a few stumps. The snap button locks solid with no wobble, which I didn't expect at this price.

The carbon shaft makes a noticeable difference on long days of fishing—my shoulders aren't wrecked after paddling into the wind. The blades have taken a beating on rocks and gravel launches and still look nearly new.
