Wore this on a chilly morning hike and it layered perfectly under my jacket without feeling bulky. The 1/4 zip is handy for venting when things warm up, and the fabric has just enough stretch.
The poly-Tencel blend feels way softer than a typical performance pullover, almost like a lightweight sweatshirt. I've been wearing it over a tee for cool morning commutes and it breathes fine once the office warms up.
Wore this on a breezy 60-degree hike and it was perfect, then kept it on for dinner without feeling overdressed. The poly-Tencel-cotton blend really does feel softer than a typical performance pullover, and the quarter zip vents nicely when you warm up.
