Wore these straight out of the box for a full day of errands and my feet never once complained. The extra thick midsole genuinely feels like walking on something soft but springy, not mushy.

I've been wearing these on my daily mile walk to the store, and the thick midsole genuinely soaks up the pavement. The high-rebound insole really does spring back with each step instead of flattening out.
