Threw them in the washing machine after a muddy weekend at the creek and they came out looking brand new. My kid says the straps don't rub at all on long walks, which is a first for us.
These have survived a whole summer of creek stomping and backyard mud fights, and they still look decent. I just toss them in the washing machine and they come out looking almost new, which honestly saves me a lot of scrubbing.
My son wore these every day at summer camp and they held up great through all the mud and creek time. Only thing is the straps took a few days to break in, but now he won't take them off.
