Wore this for a full day of kayaking and the modal fabric stayed soft even after getting splashed—no clammy feeling at all. The 40+ UPF hood actually covers my ears without feeling bulky, which I didn't expect.
Wore this kayaking all afternoon and the hood actually stayed put in the wind, which I didn't expect. The 40+ UPF gives me peace of mind on long water days, though I wish the fabric dried a touch faster after splashes.
The modal fabric feels cool against the skin, which is why I reach for this on hot hikes. That said, the hood is a bit loose and flops around when I'm not wearing it up, so it's just okay for me.
