Bought this as a spare for my hip belt and ended up using it the same weekend when the original buckle cracked. Swapping it in with just a screwdriver took about two minutes, and the side release clicks as solidly as the factory one.

Natalie ★★★★★

Snapped the buckle on my pack mid-trip and this saved the day—the screwdriver-only install took about two minutes. Being able to thread it on without sewing is genius, and it's been solid on every hike since.

Swapped out a cracked buckle on my pack with just a screwdriver, and it's held solid through two weekend trips. Only gripe is that the pin is a little fiddly to thread on the first try, but once it's set it feels permanent.
