Wore this on a breezy morning hike and it regulated my temp perfectly without feeling bulky. The low-pile fleece is thinner than I expected but still warm, and the half zip vents fast when I heat up.
Wore this on a chilly morning hike and it kept me comfortable the whole time without overheating once I got moving. The low-pile fleece is noticeably lighter than my old midlayer, and the slim fit layers cleanly under a shell.
The slim fit is genuinely slim, so size up if you're broad in the shoulders. Otherwise the low-pile fleece breathes well on cool runs and the half zip vents fast when you heat up.
