Tossed this in my daypack for a lunch break at the park and it barely added any weight. Set it up between two trees in a couple minutes and actually finished a whole chapter without my back complaining.
Packs down smaller than my old tent hammock, which was the whole reason I grabbed it. Set it up between two pines on a weekend trip and it held fine. The straps could be a touch longer for thicker trunks, but that's my only gripe.
Took it out for a weekend camping trip and the lightweight part is true — barely noticed it in my pack. Setup took longer than I expected since the straps kept slipping, but once it was up it held fine for an afternoon of reading.
