The air mesh back panel made a huge difference on a four-hour layover sprint through Atlanta—my back wasn't soaked like it used to be with my old pack. Fits under the seat if you don't overstuff it, and the 28L is honestly the sweet spot for a long weekend.
The 28L size fits under the seat on most airlines, which is what I bought it for. But the clamshell opening is awkward to pack in tight hostel rooms, and I wish the straps tucked away more cleanly.
