I wore these on a week of warm-weather hiking and the double-woven stretch fabric never once felt restrictive on steep steps. Light enough that I forgot I had them on, but they held up fine brushing against rocks and scrub.
These have become my go-to for summer hikes — the double-woven stretch fabric moves with you on steep scrambles and never feels clammy. I honestly forget I'm wearing hiking trousers until I hit the pub afterwards and realize they still look decent.
