The bamboo fabric is ridiculously soft but still holds up through a full day of moving around. I've washed them a dozen times now and they haven't stretched out or pilled at all.
Wore these on a three-hour hike and forgot I had them on, no chafing at all. The bamboo fabric breathes way better than my old cotton pairs, and the waistband doesn't dig in when I'm sitting all day.
