I hate that swishing sound rain jackets make, so the quiet matte fabric on this one honestly sold me. It's fully seam taped and kept me bone dry in a downpour without feeling like I was wearing a plastic bag.

Walked to work in steady drizzle and stayed completely dry thanks to the seam-taped 3L shell. Only complaint is the hood runs a bit big over a beanie, but the matte finish looks way better than my old shiny jacket.

Wore this through a solid two hours of drizzle and stayed completely dry, and the fabric really is as quiet as they claim. My only gripe is the hood runs a bit large without a hat underneath.
