Stirring a big pot of risotto with this and the handle stays comfortable the whole time. The natural oil finish has held up through several hand washes already, no dryness or splintering.
The beech wood feels solid and hasn't warped after a few weeks of daily stirring, even with hand washing. It's light enough to use for long stretches and the natural oil finish looks nicer than I expected.
The beech wood has a nice solid weight to it and doesn't scratch my non-stick pan at all. Only gripe is it needs hand washing, but that's expected with an oil finish.
