The pinpoint canvas has this soft, broken-in feel right away, and the hint of stretch makes them easy to move in all day without bagging out at the knees. I've worn them to the office and on weekend errands and they hold up either way.
I wore these straight out of the bag for a whole weekend and the hint of stretch made them feel broken-in already. The pinpoint canvas is hefty enough for cool mornings but never stiff, and the five-pocket cut keeps them looking sharp with a tee or a button-down.
The canvas has a nice soft hand right out of the bag and the bit of stretch makes them easy to move in all day. Only gripe is the waist runs about a half inch bigger than my other 34s, so keep that in mind.
