The fleece body on this is genuinely warm without feeling bulky, and the quarter zip makes it easy to vent when I'm moving. I've worn it almost every morning since it arrived.
Wore this on a windy hike last weekend and the Alfpaca Gold fleece body kept my core warm without overheating on the climbs. The articulated sleeves don't bunch up when I'm reaching, which I didn't expect from a quarter zip.
The two fleece panels do their job and it's warm without being bulky, but the quarter zip sits a little high on my neck and the sleeves run long on me. Solid enough for cold mornings, though I expected a softer hand feel for the price.
