The carbon plate really does kick in once you pick up the pace on descents. FF Turbo foam feels springy without beating up my legs over 8 miles, and the high stack gave me confidence through loose gravel.
Took these on a rocky 10-mile loop and the FF TURBO foam felt springy without beating up my legs on the descents. The high stack takes a bit of getting used to on technical stuff, but once I trusted it the ride was quick and smooth.
The carbon plate really does make turnover feel quicker on rolling singletrack, and the FF TURBO foam stays springy even when I'm pushing tempo pace. Only gripe is the price, but for a dedicated short-distance racer I've gotten my money's worth.
