I'm a side sleeper and usually wake up with a stiff neck when camping, but the plus-sized shape of this one actually kept my head supported all night. It packs down small enough to stuff in my bag without taking up half the space.
Took this on a three-night trip and actually slept through the night, which never happens for me in a tent. The bigger size gives my head room to move without sliding off the edge like my old one did.
The plus-sized version is what sold me, and it actually fills the space in my sleeping bag hood instead of sliding out at 2am like my old one did. The extra width makes side-sleeping on a tent floor feel almost normal.
