Wore these on a muddy, root-covered trail last weekend and never once felt unstable — the TPU chassis keeps the boot planted on uneven ground. Feet stayed bone dry crossing a shallow creek, which sold me on the waterproofing.
Took these on a muddy 8-mile trail last weekend and the TPU chassis really kept my ankles steady on the rocky descents. The heel cup locks in nicely too, no slipping at all.
