Took these on a two-week trip and the cushioned footbed saved my feet after long walks on hot sand. They're lightweight enough to toss in a day bag, and the straps never rubbed.

Wore these straight out of the box for a full day at the beach and my feet never once complained. The footbed has just enough give that walking on hot sand didn't leave me wincing.

The footbed is soft and molded nicely to my arch, which I appreciated after a long walk on the beach. That said, the strap rubbed a bit on the side of my foot the first few wears, so it's not a sandal I'd grab for a full day right away.
