The organic cotton is noticeably softer than the stiff flannels I've owned before, but it still feels like it'll hold up to regular wear. The shirttail hem is a nice touch too, it looks fine untucked over jeans.

The organic cotton is genuinely soft straight out of the wash, no break-in period needed. I've been wearing it open over a tee on cool mornings and the shirttail hem sits nicely untucked. Two chest pockets actually fit my phone, which is rare.

Wore this flannel straight out of the package for a weekend camping trip and it held up nicely around the fire. The shirttail hem is a nice touch since it stays put untucked, though the sleeves run a bit long on me.
