Wore these for a 10-mile rocky descent and my feet felt surprisingly locked in the whole way down. The cushioning hits that sweet spot between firm and forgiving on uneven terrain.

Took these on a rocky ridge run and the grip held solid on wet granite. The cushioning is firm enough for technical descents but still soft on longer miles. Fit was true to size right out of the box, no break-in needed.

Grippy enough on loose gravel, but the cushioning feels firmer than I'd like after about 10 miles. Fine for shorter trail days, just not my pick for long ones.
