Swapped from buckles to these and the even pressure across my foot was noticeable on the first run. The 100 flex feels forgiving enough for all-day cruising but still holds up when I push.
The BOA dial really does wrap the instep more evenly than my old buckles, no pressure point across the top of the foot. Flex felt about right for my weight at 100, though I do crank the dial a bit tighter after lunch.
The BOA dial really does wrap the instep more evenly than my old buckles, and I can fine-tune the pressure mid-run without taking my gloves off. The 100 flex is forgiving enough for my sloppy late-day turns, though I do wish the liner had a bit more padding around the shin.
