Wore these on a muddy six-mile trail last weekend and my feet stayed completely dry through every puddle. The lower-density chassis really does make a difference on uneven ground, I felt way more planted than in my old pair.
The softer cuff around the ankle made a huge difference on my first long hike, no rubbing at all. The women's-specific chassis keeps things stable without feeling stiff.
Wore these on a rocky 8-mile trail and my ankles felt locked in the whole way down, no rolling at all. The softer cuff around the ankle is a small thing but it meant zero break-in rubbing.
