Didn't expect the adjustable strap to actually sit right cross-body without digging in, but it does. The open top swallows my 32oz bottle easily and the cinch keeps it from sliding out when I lean over.
The cinch top actually holds my 32oz bottle tight, no slipping even when I'm jogging to the train. I also popped the strap off and clipped the sleeve to my belt loop, which is a nice bonus I didn't expect.
The open top makes it easy to drop my 32oz bottle in without wrestling with a zipper, and the cinch keeps it from tipping out when I lean over. Only gripe is the strap padding is a bit thin on longer walks, but for quick errands it does the job.
