This tape saved my weekend trip — a seam on my rain jacket split wide open and a single strip held it shut through two days of rain. The adhesive is seriously aggressive and the clear backing blends right in.
The adhesive on this stuff really does grab almost anything—stuck a patch on my tent's rain fly and it's held through two weekends of wind and rain. Only gripe is that it's clear but still shows a slight sheen, so it's not totally invisible.
Patched a pinhole in my rain jacket from the inside and it's held through two wash cycles. Adhesion is genuinely aggressive, though get it positioned right the first time because it does not want to peel back up.
