Took these up a muddy ridge last weekend and the flick locks held tight the whole way, no slipping even on steep descents. The natural cork grips soak up sweat nicely on long climbs, which I didn't expect to notice as much as I did.
The cork grips feel great in my hands, even on longer days, but the locking mechanism slipped a couple of times on steep descents until I really cranked it down. Solid enough for casual hikes, just not as confidence-inspiring as I'd hoped.
