Wore this under a shell on a windy 30-degree hike and stayed comfortable the whole time without overheating on the climb. The HeiQ odor control is no joke either, I wore it two days straight and it didn't get funky.
The grid texture inside really does trap warmth without making me sweat on the climb up. I've worn it three days straight on a trip and it still doesn't smell funky thanks to the odor control. Layers perfectly under a fleece too.
