Clipped this to my track and it's been holding my kayak crate tools without any leash tangles. The retractor pulls out smooth and snaps back every time, even after a few splashes.
The retractor keeps my pliers right where I need them without any dangling leash getting in the way. The mount locks solidly to the track and hasn't budged through a full day of paddling.
