Took these on a muddy ridge trail last weekend and the grip never slipped once, even on wet rock. The lighter build honestly surprised me—my feet didn't feel wrecked after eight miles.
These are noticeably lighter than my old hikers and I barely felt the difference on a steep climb. The traction held up fine on wet gravel too, which I wasn't expecting from such a light shoe.
Took these on a four-mile rocky trail and the lighter weight really showed—my feet weren't dragging by the end like they usually are. Grip on wet roots was solid too. Only gripe is the laces feel a bit thin for the price.
