Wore this under my shell on a windy ridge hike and stayed warm the whole way, then it stuffed right into its own pocket at lunch. For how light it feels, the down actually holds heat.
The thing I didn't expect to love: it stuffs into its own pocket and disappears into my daypack. Took it snowshoeing last weekend and stayed toasty without feeling bulky under my shell.
Wore this under a shell on a windy hike and stayed warm without feeling bulky. Packs down into its own pocket, which saved me space in my daypack. Only gripe is the hood fits a bit loose without a beanie underneath.
