These made a huge difference on my last snowboarding trip — the soft micro layer cushions right where my arches would normally ache after a few hours. The pressure relief is real, and they fit cleanly into my boots without bunching up.
Swapped these into my hiking boots before a rocky weekend trip and the pressure relief under the arch was noticeable by the second mile. The soft micro top layer kept my feet from getting that raw, rubbed feeling on the downhill stretches.
The arch support is decent for hiking, but the soft microfiber top layer made my feet sweat on longer climbs. Fine for shorter trails, though I expected more breathability.
