These dried out overnight after my son wore them in the lake all day, no squishing or smell the next morning. The flexible sole lets him run around camp without tripping, and they're light enough that he forgets he's wearing them.
My kid wore these straight from the beach into the lake and they dried before we got back to the car. The sole flexes easily too, so no complaints about stiff straps rubbing on the walk home.
These have held up way better than the stiff sandals we had before. My kid wore them straight through a week at the lake and they dried fast and never rubbed. Only thing is the strap takes a bit of tugging to get snug, but once it's set they stay put.
