Wore this through a soggy week of commuting and stayed completely dry, and the hood actually stays up in wind instead of flopping back. It's light enough to stuff in my tote but doesn't feel flimsy at all.
The hood actually stays put in wind instead of flopping back like most rain jackets. Only gripe is the sleeves run a bit long on me, but the fabric feels soft rather than that stiff plasticky stuff.
