Didn't think I'd care about side entry until I tried it with cold, wet hands — way easier than wrestling a jacket over my head. The low profile cut means my net doesn't catch on it when I cast.

The front pockets actually hold my pliers and a small tackle box without bulging into my chest when I cast. Sat in it for six hours on the boat and barely noticed I was wearing it.

The side entry buckles are easy to snap on even with cold hands, and I can finally get to my pliers without unzipping three pockets. My only gripe is the low profile fit rides up a bit when I sit down, but for standing and casting all day it's been solid.
