Took this sledding for four hours in wet, heavy snow and my daughter stayed completely dry. The seam-sealed waterproof shell actually holds up, and it's soft enough that she didn't fight me putting it on.
My kid wore this straight through a snowy afternoon and stayed completely dry, which never happens with his other suits. The 100% recycled polyester shell feels sturdy but not stiff, so he can still move around and dig in the snow.
The seam-sealed waterproofing held up through two hours of sledding in wet slush and my kid stayed completely dry. The recycled polyester shell is surprisingly soft, not that stiff crinkly feel I expected.
