Wore these on a muddy ridge run and the upper shed dirt instead of soaking it up, which kept them light the whole way. Traction felt planted even on wet roots. Two runs in and they already feel broken in.
The grip on loose gravel really surprised me, no slipping at all on the steep descents. Upper feels durable too after a few muddy runs, and my feet stayed dry through a shallow creek crossing thanks to the GTX.
Wore these on a wet, rocky ridge run last weekend and the grip never slipped once, even on the steep descents. The durable upper held up great through brush and mud, and my feet stayed locked in the whole time.
