Wore these straight through a weekend of walking and my feet never complained once. The adjustable two straps let me loosen them over swollen ankles, and the suede upper has that soft, broken-in feel from day one.
The suede straps are buttery right out of the box, and the two buckles let me loosen the top one just enough for my wide feet. The soft footbed actually molds to your arch after a few wears.
These took about a week to break in and the suede strap dug into my instep at first. The adjustable buckles do let you fine-tune the fit, and now they're comfortable enough for errands, but I wouldn't call them instantly soft.
