Took these on a rocky river hike and the toe bumper saved me more than once. They dry fast and the straps adjust enough that they stayed put wading through the current.
Wore these straight out of the box on a wet rocky trail and my feet stayed surprisingly secure thanks to the adjustable bungee lacing. Only gripe is they take a day or two to dry after full submersion, but the traction on slick surfaces made up for it.
The toe bumper is great for river rocks, but the straps rubbed a blister on my ankle the first few wears. Fine once they broke in, just expect a rough start.
