Wore this as a midlayer under my shell on a cold, windy hike and it held warmth without making me sweat on the climb. The repurposed taffeta panels on the shoulders shed light drizzle nicely too.
The recycled fleece feels softer than I expected and it's warm enough on its own for a chilly morning walk. Only thing is the taffeta panels rustle a bit when I move, but for the price I'm not complaining.
The recycled fleece feels soft and I like that it's partly made from repurposed taffeta, but the fit runs boxier than I expected through the body. Works fine as a midlayer under a shell, though on its own it's a bit thin for real cold.
