My son wore these straight through a muddy creek hike and stayed dry the whole time. The FLASHDRY material dried out fast overnight too, so he could wear them again the next day.

Took these on a wet hike last weekend and the water-repellent finish actually held up — mud just wiped off the knees. My son stayed dry and didn't complain once about being uncomfortable.

The water-repellent finish does its job in light rain, but the sizing runs small and my son outgrew them in a couple months. They dry fast after getting wet, which is a plus.
