Wore these hiking in misty drizzle and the water just beaded right off thanks to the DWR finish. The interior drawcord let me cinch them snug without feeling tight around the waist.
The 4-way stretch on these shorts is no joke—I squatted and climbed over rocks all afternoon without any restriction. The drawcord waist actually lets me dial in the fit instead of sagging after a few hours.
Wore these on a rainy hike and the DWR finish really does bead the water right off, which I wasn't expecting from shorts this light. The 4-way stretch made scrambling over rocks way easier than my old pair.
