Aetrex Edge Orthotics provide comfort, support and pressure relief in footwear designed for outdoor sports such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking and mountain biking. This orthotic features a soft microfiber top cover and our signature Aetrex Arch Support to help biomechanically align your body & help prevent common foot pain such as Plantar Fasciitis, Arch Pain and Metatarsalgia.
The soft microfiber top layer is what sold me — no hot spots even after a full day of hiking steep trails. Pressure relief on the downhills was noticeable right away, and they stayed put inside my boots.
Wore these in my hiking boots on a rocky trail and the arch support held up the whole way down. Only gripe is the edges felt a bit stiff the first couple of outings before they broke in.
Swapped these into my hiking boots before a weekend trip and the arch support made a real difference on the downhill sections. Only gripe is they took a day or two to break in and felt stiff at first.
