Weather defying technology on the exterior, cozy-soft fleece on the interior: our Gridback Fleece is made to stand out. Designed for action, but comfortable enough to kick back in after a long day casting flies or on the trail. The Gridback Fleece Vest is the latest iteration of our technical outerwear.
Wore this on a windy hike and the exterior blocked the gusts way better than I expected for something this light. The gridback fleece inside kept me warm without overheating once I got moving.
Wore this vest on a chilly hike and the gridback fleece inside kept me warm without overheating once I got moving. The exterior really does shrug off light rain, and it's soft enough that I keep it on around the house afterward.
The fleece interior is genuinely soft and the grid pattern on the outside looks sharp, but the fit runs boxier than I'd like through the waist. It's fine for kicking around the house, just not as trim as I hoped for layering.
