Wore this on a windy 40-degree hike and it blocked the chill better than my old fleece. The recycled wool blend is soft against the neck, not itchy at all, and it layers fine under a shell.
The recycled wool blend is genuinely warm and the hood sits nicely without pulling. But it pills badly after just two washes, which I didn't expect at this price.
